Well, that was fun! A number of firsts for me. The main one was being a part of the professional side of Comic-Con for the first time. Row JJ, table 16, in Artist’s Alley. Very cool. A bunch of people came by and bought matted prints and a larger bunch came by and enjoyed the ones on display. Hearing unrestrained laughter is music to the ears of this cartoonist. Excellent neighbors in the Alley were generous with tips for this newbie, making a good experience better.
Even had the odd person come by who knew of Nicky510 beforehand. The word is getting out! So tell your neighbors and tell your friends! Hopefully it will be way more people by the time Comic-Con 2010 rolls along.
Pics will have to wait until I get home but, as usual, it was a riot of people, costumes, games, artwork, you name it.
note to self: dont go to the jungle
