Lots of great stuff- talks, panels, ways to spend money … Saw the world premier of the official trailer for the new Star Trek movie (quite awesome) and 17 minutes of the new Pixar flick – UP. As usual for a Pixar production – way cool. I know a kid exactly like the co-star of the animated feature.

Can't wait to see the new Star Trek movie! And call me clueless, but I didn't realize Pixar was making a new movie. Off to research it now…..

There hasn't been as much advance hype about it as is usually the case. But what I saw looks very good indeed. Ed Asner as a grumpy old guy who attaches a zillion helium balloons to his house in order to sail on the winds to the land of his dreams. Along with a goofy Wilderness scout who inadvertently comes along for the ride….
