The itsy tipsy spider

The itsy tipsy spider, crawled up the waterspout.

What? That's not the way it goes? Well, then how do you explain this?

Isn't that cool? Either the product of a tipsy spider or one that thinks (or spins) out of the box.

Maybe I've been sheltered, but I don't ever remember seeing a spider web that didn't basically go round and round in a spiral. But just look at this one. The little guy went up and around counterclockwise until he reached the web line at the top right and then said, "Seriously dude, that's far enough – time to turn around." And then he shuffled around to the web line nearer the top and again – stop, slide over a bit, reverse.

This really fascinated me. Have any of you ever seen a web like it?

Yes I have, actually! I think it depends on spider species. Either that or it had been passive smoking some weed… ;-p

    Never !
But again, i’ve never seen a perfectly spiraled spider web; usually it’s just…web, lying there with no significant architecture

    lol a n00b spider

Perhaps she just needs some more practice :-)

I have never ever seen a web quite like this one. This is a fine web for a
    Tim Burton movie set.

Spiders do some funny stuff when stoned/pissed.
