Back when I was more of a kid than I am now, I made a playground out of toothpicks. Just a little model one – not full size. It had a merry-go-round and a teeter-totter, and, I think, a swing. Felt pretty good after finishing it. But that’s because I hadn’t seen  THIS  guy’s work.

It’s amazing how much you can accomplish if you spend a LOT of time doing something repetitive. Like, build a pyramid, for instance. Or, on a smaller scale, put a model of San Francisco in your house through the use of toothpicks and glue. And patience. LOTS of patience.

I wonder how good it’d do in an earthquake? Some of those structures don’t look like they’re built to code …
