My mom always insisted on having large dogs… (Dad wanted a basset hound…) so we had an Irish setter, a Gordon Setter, & a Rottweiler … but not all at once! (thank goodness I'd left home by the time Bear the Rottweiler showed up!)
I've been around my share of large dogs (Bernese Mountain Dogs). After experiencing the work involved the charms of a little guy have grown brighter.
