I hate to point this out, but it’s nagging me. Pete Docter is the man ELF should be apologizing to, not John Lasseter. Although Lasseter was involved (as executive producer), it was Pete Docter’s idea with the premises and such. I’m a fan of Pixar’s films, so this is a mistake I caught. But I’ll let it slide since I saw the following comics.
Hey Ed: It’s fine to point out, but I already knew that. Two reasons for ELF’s comment. First, unless John signs off, it doesn’t happen. Two, almost nobody reading it knows who Pete Docter is but EVERYBODY knows who John Lasseter is. The joke wouldn’t have been parsed by more than a couple of people if I’d gone with Pete. And we can even add a third – likely ELF didn’t know Pete either
