I get headaches, sinus pain, and chest pain. Of course the stuff that I chug and get brain freeze from are so cold they're dang near frozen. The reason you get a brain freeze in the first place is because your esophagus passes very close to your heart and when you drink something really cold too fast it causes instant arterial hypothemia. I have even heard that some dumb stoners got high and brain froze themselves to death!
its my nose that freezes, I have devoted myself to filling my head with so much useless knowledge that there is no room left for anything else, so I am forgetting things even as I learn them and there isn’t even room for my brain to freeze for when things freeze and thaw they tend to expand
You get a brain freeze because your cheeks get too cold and you share pain nerves between your cheeks and forehead; it confuses the pain center in your brain. Quick swish of warm water will raise your cheek temperature back up and “thaw” your brain freeze.
LOL! This is too real. I used to do that as a kid and I still do it now (but with margaritas!)
Frozen margies? They're death to me – I can't help but drink them too fast. But I drink 'em anyway – sooo good!
why do they call it brain freeze when it's your teeth that hurt?
Most people get headaches. Me – my throat freezes.
my throat freezes to!
But it's a good freeze …

That gives me the shivers just looking at their faces.
