Ah, religion IS touchy! Someone messes with someone's beliefs and you get a monologue about how their religion is correct and yours is wrong.

Sorry, sorry, sorry. I should have said kitchen "god" not "gods." The kitchen is clearly a monotheistic place
I don’t see why monotheism and polytheism can’t exist side-by-side after all as diefic beings they can exist even with contrary evidence to themselves as long as they have people who believe in them
By definition, monotheism precludes polytheism. 10 can have 1, 1 can’t have 10.
Also, religion is exclusively based on belief; including the belief that you’re right. If you’re right, the others cannot be.
Tolerating another’s right to believe what they want, no matter how wrong you think they are, is a whole ‘nuther issue.
