Haha! This is my favorite comic in a while. I had a similar experience in my youth, involving a gaggle of Canadian geese and a loaf of bread. Like something out of a horror movie, that was.

Oh yes, park animals are very clever, and persistent. As a child, my grandparents took me to the Grand Canyon and gave me some bread to feed to the squirrels. I offered a small piece to one squirrel, who refused to take it! I, of course, was perplexed, and held out the entire piece of bread so he could "eat what he wanted" (in my child's brain, this made sense). The rodent, of course, managed to wrench the whole thing from my hand and made off with it!
We have a picture of a squirrel at the Grand Canyon drinking from a water bottle some lady is holding. It's too cute (and at the same time, very disturbing).
