I remember having nightmares like that. Too bad Halloween is dying today
They actually did that in my friend's neighbourhood. I am not joking. One house handed out pens (which is fine with me because I LOVE PENS!), and another had toothbrushes. This also didn't bother me, since I just like free things! :]
In my neighborhood those houses get egged. (and I admit I may have done it myself in my youth)

I actually wouldn't mind the toothbrush or carrot…hmm, if they gave me ranch dip with that carrot I'd be their best friend.
