Sorry, figgyleaf, but I have to agree with Crow on this one. Nicky looks pumped, and he's even pumping his fist a little. Of course, that could quickly change to fear, but then I think he'd be futilely waving his arms in front of him trying to stop the major modifications about to be effected upon his structural integrity.

I think if you looked at the art without any of the words you would interpret fear. If you are looking for exhilaration you'll see it, though.
I wonder how this will end. Winding up in a tree has been done a thousand times. Of course, to do something "classic" like that with an original spin on it would be great.
Personally, I've always wondered how anyone would end up stuck in a tree after crashing at high speed. You'd have to crash via a bump or flying off a cliff — the latter some artists have done, actually.
